Warrior Cats Favourites Picker

As you start and continue on, groups of characters from Warrior Cats will appear on the screen. Pick one or more of these characters and press the "Pick" button. If there are none, feel free to press the "Pass" button! Soon enough your favourite battle cats will appear under the "Found Favourites" text.

Realistically (and hopefully), this picker is pretty accurate, provided you pick consistently, you'll correctly get your second favourite second, even if it's pitted against your absolute favourite early on. You are also able to reorganise any characters you feel may be in the incorrect placing any time throughout the picker. Feel free to include and exclude any of the filters in the "Options" tab based on what you have or haven't read or if a certain set of characters just doesn't appeal to you.

In regards to filtering, since there is such a large amount of books in the franchise alongside with a lot of people not having read all of them, you are able to select certain arcs/eras of the series as well as certain groups characters may reside in. In summary, this should only show you characters that were introduced in the book and/or group categories you have selected. However, cats such as Sunbeam for example, will only show up if you have the "A Starless Clan" box selected, rather than "The Broken Code" as that was the first era she was most prominent in.

Display Options

The maximum number of characters shown in each batch given to you. When there are less characters left in a batch to be eliminated, you'll see fewer than this. Reducing the maximum batch size may make it easier to pick, but it will also take longer to get through each round.

Character Filters

Include Series:



If a series is unchecked, characters who were introduced in that series will be excluded from the picker.

Include Groups:


If a group is unchecked, characters who reside in that group will be excluded from the picker.


If unchecked, characters who were introduced or had their name changed in books released in the last 3 months will be excluded from the picker. Currently, this includes Darktail's Judgement and Guiding Light.

Included Books

Some information regarding the series filter option and what books are included in what filter.

Prequels includes any side books that take place before the events of The Prophecies Begin. This includes books such as Cloudstar's Journey, StormClan's Folly, Mapleshade's Vengeance, Bluestar's Prophecy, and so on.

Modern SkyClan Books includes any side books that take place with the cast of modern SkyClan after it was rebuilt. This includes books such as Firestar's Quest, SkyClan's Destiny, Hawkwing's Journey, Pebbleshine's Kits, and so on.

Field Guides includes any books that have the writing structure and style of a field guide. This includes books such as Code of the Clans, The Ultimate Guide, Secrets of the Clans, Cats of the Clans, and so on.

Any side content that takes place during and/or around the timeline of the main arcs will be included when you select that corresponding arc. For example, Dovewing's Silence would be filtered under "Omen of the Stars".
